The Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs seeks applications and nominations for a tenure-track position as assistant professor with teaching and research interests in public policy. Primary responsibilities of the position include:
- Conducting a program of research leading to scholarly publications
- Teaching graduate courses in the MPA and Ph.D. programs
- Internal service
- Outreach activities related to research
Applicants for this position are expected to demonstrate high potential for scholarly research, publication, grant activity and teaching excellence. An earned doctorate in public policy, economics, political science, sociology or a related field is required at the time of appointment.
